WINTER SOLSTICE GATHERING
Following on from our profound and deeply moving community day at the solstice, we would like to invite you to the next community gathering at the spring equinox.
Community is not bonded by projects – however eco-affirmative they
might be – community is bonded by our seeing and being seen in what
touches us most deeply. We need to gather regularly and honour the
Great Universal Forces – the Masculine and Feminine – of which we are
part, which we represent, which bring us into the world, which we
bring into the world, and with which we weave our worlds.
This is an invitation to come together in sacred communication of the mature masculine and mature feminine to bring consciousness to the shadow that plays out through our larger communities as well as personal relationships (e.g. educational, medical, monetary systems, wars, masculine dominated religions, child abuse, pornography, neglect of our earth and her resources etc.)
What is happening in the collective is happening inside us.
This is an opportunity for women to reclaim their authoritative knowing and calling from the heart, and to express all that has been pushed down for so long.
Men are invited to come into their power and hearts and own their pain to enable them to hear and feel the call of the deep feminine.
By engaging with this sacred ritual, we not only achieve personal healing but also collective healing.
This is our chance to really make shifts.
We cannot do it alone. WE NEED EACH OTHER.
As the group that is holding the gathering for four seasons, we learned a lot from last time and continue to work together to bring a deeper holding and container for us all to birth a new way of being on this planet.
Arrival: 9.30 for 10 o’clock start
Ending: We ask you to commit to staying until 5.30pm. After that there will be community celebration time with music and food delicacies. We have the hall until 10 pm.
Date: Sunday 18 March
Venue: Harberton Village Hall
Arrive: 9:30am for a 10am start
Finish: at 6pm for light refreshments and community clearing up.
Please bring:
Food to share for a light lunch and evening refreshments
Cushions or anything else for your personal comfort
Any items you’d like to place on the altars for the archetypal masculine and feminine.
The cost will depend on numbers, but should be less than £20 (To cover hire of Hall and expenses)
